Entrance Fee Payment Options

La Posada has created 6 Entrance Fee payment options for the payment and use of Entrance Fees for the Park Centre Homes. This is a brief summary of each Option. Simply, the more money available to La Posada to be used for the actual construction of the home, the lower the initial Entrance Fee for the Park Centre Home. Details for each Option can be provided upon request. It is La Posada’s suggestion that you have a conversation with a La Posada Retirement Counselor regarding any of the Options offered.

Each of the options below, with the exception of Option 4, has an Entrance Fee financial incentive that lowers the Standard Entrance Fee for taking part in the initial Park Centre Home development. The value of the financial incentive is based upon incentives offered at the signing date of the Park Centre Home Construction Agreement.

Option 1: Provide 30% of the Standard Entrance Fee upon signing a Park Centre Home Construction Agreement, and the balance of the Standard Entrance Fee upon the Assigned Move-in Date for the home.

Option 2: Provide 30% of the Standard Entrance Fee upon signing a Park Centre Home Construction Agreement and make equal construction deposit payments throughout the course of construction of the home.

Option 3: Provide 10% of the Standard Entrance Fee upon signing a Park Centre Home Construction Agreement and the balance of the Park Centre Home Entrance Fee within 60 days of the Construction Agreement Date.

Option 4: Provide 30% of the Standard Entrance Fee upon signing a Park Centre Home Construction Agreement, and the balance of the Standard Entrance Fee upon the Assigned Move-in Date for the Park Centre Home. As a Resident of the Park Centre Home, you will receive a pre-determined monthly fee discount off your assigned Monthly Resident Service Fee for the remainder of your residency in Independent Living at La Posada.

Option 5: Provide either 60%, 80%, or 100% of the Standard Entrance Fee for the Park Centre Home at the time you sign your Park Centre Home Construction Agreement and delay your move-in date to your new home for a period not to exceed 18 months from the date the Park Centre Home is ready for occupancy.

Option 6: This option allows you to delay your residency in a Park Centre Home for up to 36 months from the date of the signed Construction Agreement. You are responsible for providing 30% of the Standard Entrance Fee for the chosen Park Centre Home on the date of the signed Construction Agreement and agree to provide equal valued quarterly payments over a period of 24 months. Beginning the third year, you may delay your residency in a Park Centre Home, but you will have a monthly resident service fee of $1,000 per month to maintain the home. This monthly resident service fee entitles you to a limited service package, including 10 meals per month for each person and access to campus amenities and activities. You will need to have a signed La Posada Residency Agreement and meet all of La Posada’s Independent Living guidelines prior to occupying your Park Centre Home.
